The Catasauqua Police Department provides 24/7 protection to the approximate 6800 residence of the Borough. The officers patrol approximately 1.3 square miles of the Borough. The department presently consists of 18 officers which includes the Chief of Police and Sergeant. In 2009, the department responded to approximately 5329 calls for service, resulting in 4005 reported incident. Approximately 200 criminal arrests were made, 65 DUI arrests along with 1614 traffic citations issued. Officers logged 65,697 miles patrolling the Borough.
